I attended the Disability Awareness Day at Place d’Armes here in Luxembourg.I learned from organizations and advocates fighting for the inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of life.Did you know that in many EU countries, adults under legal guardianship are deprived of their right to vote? In Luxembourg, we have recently changed this. Today, individuals under guardianship are no longer automatically excluded from voting. They are called to the polls in these EU elections, but they are also exempt from penalties if they do not exercise their right to vote. This is a significant step towards ensuring equal participation in the democratic process for all citizens.How is it in your countries ?
