According to renowned leaker IceUniverse, Apple is considering reducing the width of the Dynamic Island to 13.5mm, a significant 35% decrease from the iPhone 17 Pro's 20.7mm. This change could make the iPhone 18 Pro's display even more impressive, but it's a move that not everyone agrees with.
But here's where it gets interesting: The fate of the selfie camera and Face ID has been a hot topic. Initial rumors suggested a top-left camera placement or an under-display setup, but a recent clarification revealed it was all due to a mistranslation. So, no major changes there, it seems.
Why does this matter? Well, central selfie cameras have their perks. Moving the camera to the corner might look appealing, but it could hinder usability.
