"It all started with a crazy idea—let's open an ice cream shop! There wasn't much like it in the area, but we made it happen. We persevered through the ups and downs, and my sisters' support was invaluable."
However, the road to success wasn't always smooth. For years, the business struggled to find its footing, with doubts and financial challenges looming large.
"On paper, it seemed like a futile endeavor. Why keep going when it wasn't bringing in profits?"
But Janzin's determination paid off. Over time, Chillz not only gained traction but also cultivated a dedicated following, amassing over 198,000 fans on TikTok and other social media platforms. Customers rave about the exceptional customer service, a rare gem in today's fast-paced world.
"I didn't realize at first that our approach was unique. We simply treated people with kindness and respect. It's a sad reality that such basic human connection is rare these days. At Chillz, we encourage friendliness, humor, and humanity."
The Fort Wayne location, nestled in the Time Corners Plaza, is the culmination of Janzin's dream to expand. It hasn't been an easy journey, but the overwhelming response has been a source of immense gratitude and motivation.
"It's taken everything I have to open this place, but seeing the love and support makes it all worthwhile. I'm thrilled and grateful to be here, and I can't wait to continue serving our community."
