How do I start the Legacy of Allag? ›

Players can start the questline by talking to Outlandish Man at Mor Dhona (x21,y8) then start the quest Legacy of Allag. Crystal Tower is a dungeon from Final Fantasy III. It will feature the bosses of Final Fantasy III.

Legacy Of Allag

This sidequest starts the Crystal Tower's questline. Players must be level 50 and have completed A Realm Reborn's main scenario, which ends with the quest “The Ultimate Weapon.” It's picked up by speaking to the Outlandish Man in Mor Dhona (X:22, Y:8).

As part of A Realm Reborn, and now included in the Main Scenario Quests, players will need to meet the following requirements to unlock The Labyrinth of the Ancients: Complete “The Ultimate Weapon.” Complete “A Performance for the Ages.” Reach Level 50 with your character.

You need to do all of it. Three raids plus a concluding quest where the tower is sealed shut again.

The first episode of Legacy of the Blade downloadable content (DLC) starts with a quest called The Horsem*n Cometh. To access the quest, you need to have started Episode 7 of the main game and reached level 28. The quest will automatically be added to your Quests journal and will appear in Makedonia region in-game.

Fortunately, this is pretty straightforward. Simply go to the Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (X: 9.5 Y:12.9) and accept the quest “Sage's Path” from the Sharlayan Maiden. You'll need to have a Disciple of War or Magic at level 70 first, though, and you'll need to have bought the Endwalker Expansion.

After completing a run of The Labyrinth of the Ancients, you can speak to G'raha Tia at X:30.4, Y:12.1 in Mor Dhona to pick up “For Prosperity.” Completing this quest will unlock the quest “Sycrus Tower,” which, as you can imagine, unlocks Sycrus Tower.

Trial of the Ancients is located in an Ancient Shrine on the Great Plateau, and is unlocked after completing the Challenges "The Trial of Stones," "The Trial of Monsters," and "The Trial of the Mighty Foe." In the Challenge, the Warrior is given three minutes to defeat Monk Maz Koshia.

The Labyrinth is unlocked by completing Skirmish 8. Inside the Labyrinth the player will encounter Dark Monsters and occasionally Gemming Gremlins. There are two difficulty levels. Normal is unlocked by clearing Skirmish 8 - Sacred War.

The quest line starts in Mor Dhona. A NPC will appear near the large Aetheryte named Outlandish Man. Speak with him to get the quest Legacy of Allag. He will send you to an NPC further in the zone called Rammbroes.

Sage's Path Quest Walkthrough
