What does ignore enemy hit mass do in Darktide? ›

TLDR: Ignore Hit Mass is for making your melee weapon hit a huge bunch of grouped-up mobs with one swing, rather than only doing damage to a couple of them.

Yeah level 30 is technically the max, at least in terms of talent points. Most of your time after that is spent optimizing your gear, playstyle, and general skill.

Penances are achievements you can unlock in game through gameplay. Some achievements reward you with cosmetics. Penances that have a number (E.G 1) next to them mean that the achievement has multiple stages that can be unlocked.

So the rating does matter, but not in the way you think. If you compare a weapon, it has a multitude of stats on them. Damage is only one of the stats. At higher rating there is more "points" placed into each of the stats, but it's a random placement.
