The Panthers come in at No. 14 in the most recent NCAA polling, and rank top-10 on courts one (No. 3) and three (No. 10), and top-15 on court two (No. 11) according to TruVolley. They are coming off a 2-2 record at the FSU Unconquered Invitational, beating University of North Alabama, 5-0 and Conference USA foe, University of Alabama - Birmingham, 4-1. FIU was led once again on court one with Reka Orsi Toth and Giada Bianchi, going undefeated with a 4-0 record in the event. The duo leads the team with 23 wins, all on court one, with an 8-2 record against ranked opponents. Zuzanna Bielak and Lucie Pokorna are second on the team in wins with 16, the majority of them coming on court three. Third on the team is Lisa Luini and Alice Pratesi with 13 wins, all of which coming on court 2.

FIU's first game will come against CUSA opponent Tulane University. The Green Wave are coming into their second to last event before the CUSA Tournament, third in CUSA with a 19-7 record. Tulane has an 0-4 record against ranked teams, facing then-ranked No. 7 LSU, No. 5 TCU and No. 10 LMU twice. Their best win comes in a 3-2 defeat of Texas A&M - Corpus Christi who is currently ranked No. 20 in the most recent NCAA poll. The Green Wave will have a tough schedule in Boca, facing three ranked teams in No. 14 FIU, No. 18 Florida Atlantic and No. 16 Stetson.

In their second matchup of the day, the Panthers will face off against the 15-9 South Carolina Gameco*cks. South Carolina has been either in the NCAA top-20, or on the fringes of the NCAA top-20 for the entire season, being placed as the No. 17 team in the country in the first week of the season. Since then, the Gameco*cks have been unranked despite their winning record. South Carolina has faced six ranked opponents this year in FAU, Arizona State, Georgia State, Grand Canyon, FSU, and LSU, going 0-6 in those matchups. In unranked matchups, the Gameco*cks are 15-3 with an 11-1 home record. South Carolina will see three more ranked teams at the Beach Burrow Bash, facing No. 16 Stetson, No. 14 FIU and No. 18 Florida Atlantic.

FIU's first match of day two of the event will come against No. 16 Stetson. A 15-seed in the 2023 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships, Stetson fell to TCU in the first round 3-0. This season, the Hatters will come into the event 16-7, with an 8-0 home record. Stetson comes in with 10 ranked opponents under their belts, going 4-6 in those matchups with wins against then-ranked No. 19 Tampa, No. 19 Arizona, No. 16 Grand Canyon and No. 15 Georgia State. In unranked matchups, the Hatters are 12-1, with top-20 pairs on courts two and four. Stetson will face four teams over the two-day invite, facing South Carolina and FGCU the first day, and Tulane and FIU the second day.

FIU's final match of the invite will come against longtime rival, No. 18 Florida Atlantic. The Owl are 14-13 on the year, with a 2-2 Conference USA record, facing 14 ranked opponents on the season and going 2-12 in those matchups. Their only two wins against ranked opponents came against their first two opponents of the season, beating then-ranked No. 12 Georgia State, 4-1 and then-ranked No. 17 South Carolina, 5-0. FIU and Florida Atlantic have faced off once already this year at the FAU Beach Invite on Pompano Beach. The Panthers came out on top, winning 4-1 with FIU's first four courts beating Florida Atlantic's. FAU will face FGCU and Tulane the first day of the invite, and South Carolina and No. 14 FIU the second day.
