Suddenly it will feel like September on Friday, as it stays mostly cool and cloudy. Lee Goldberg has the forecast.
NEW YORK (WABC) -- A ground stop has been issued at LaGuardia Airport due to thunderstorms Thursday evening. JFK and Newark airports are also experiencing delays.
Cooler temperatures continue on Friday, and a shower is possible.
Look for highs in the low 70s.

More humid conditions return on Saturday, along with a few storms later in the day - not a perfect start to the holiday weekend.
Sunday is another mixed bag, with showers in the morning and some breaks for sun in the afternoon.
But we rebound on Monday, staying high and dry amid comfortable conditions and temperatures in mid 70s.
